My lock went offline, what can I do?

My lock shows "Offline" in SamtechT app. What do I do? Why is my lock offline?

Answer

In most cases, the lock should automatically reconnect to wifi. If it is still experiencing issues, we recommend taking out the batteries from the lock and placing them back in again.

If you are not physically near the lock and the lock is offline, you can still generate One-Time Code on SamtechT app. 

How to generate One-time code:

1. Tap on "Unlock Key" at the bottom of the screen. 

2. Select "Temporary Key" from top menu. 

3. Tap the + in top right corner. 

4. Tap on "Temporary Key"

5. Tap on "One-time Code". 

6. Tap on "Get Code"

Code will automatically generate for you.
